Marianella Nuñez (she/her) develops and implements internal systems that support day-to-day operations and processes across the organization. Her work ensures that internal systems run smoothly and efficiently in service of Counterstream’s mission and team. She also serves as the project manager on Counterstream’s podcast “A People’s Climate.”

With a background in architecture and education, Marianella brings a systems-oriented and design-driven mindset to operational leadership. Her previous experience includes serving as Program Coordinator at Stanford University, where she managed international programs and events that fostered community building.

In addition to her work at Counterstream, she manages the operational strategy at the Communication Hub of Break Free From Plastic, a global movement she has supported since 2022.

Based in Columbia, Missouri, Marianella is passionate about building structures that support collective impact and sustainable change.
